SCC Boys Soccer Playoff Update – October 20, 2025
The eight teams are set for the 2025 SCC Boys Soccer playoffs, which start Thursday, October 23.
The top five seeds are confirmed – #1 Xavier, #2 Notre Dame, #3 West Haven, #4 Fairfield Prep and #5 Daniel Hand.
However, seeds six through eight will be determined by a regular-season game on Tuesday, Oct. 21 between Wilbur Cross and Shelton at Finn Stadium at 7 p.m.
If Wilbur Cross wins or ties – Wilbur Cross will be the #6 seed, Amity Regional #7 and Shelton #8.
If Shelton wins – Amity Regional will be the #6 seed, Shelton #7 and Wilbur Cross #8
Final pairings and quarterfinal game times will be announced immediately following the conclusion of the Wilbur Cross-Shelton match on Tuesday night.
