Each spring, the SCC partners with the Creative Arts Workshop for an arts exhibition. Each SCC member school is invited to submit works of art to a group show at CAW.

These accomplished high school students’ work are reviewed by a jury of professional artists and/or arts administrators who recommend the final prizes to be awarded by CAW.

The 2026 exhibition is being showcased from April 20 to May 4,  and is being presented by Avangrid’s three Connecticut utilities (United Illuminating, Connecticut Natural Gas and Southern Connecticut Gas).

Here are the winners of the SCC’s 2026 Arts Exhibition. 

1st Place:  Omer Yilmaz, New Haven Cooperative Arts 

2nd Place: Cade Rinehart, Guilford

3rd Place:  Reagen Magee, Daniel Hand

Honorable Mention:  Julia Priest (Guilford), Isabelle Champagne (Lyman Hall), Alexis Cirrincione (Hamden)
