New England Top 100 Showcase, the presenting sponsor of the SCC’s 2026 baseball season, will highlight league programs each week that demonstrate standout performances, momentum, or notable improvement.
This award is designed to elevate league visibility, celebrate team success, and strengthen the SCC’s relationship with NE Top 100 Showcase as a premier baseball development partner.
Week #8 (May 24 winners: Hillhouse/Career co-op (won three of their last four games, including a win over city-rival Wilbur Cross; Guilford Grizzlies (went 2-0 to finish the regular season with non-league wins against Fitch and Morgan).

Week #7 (May 17 winners: Jonathan Law Lawmen (went 2-0 during the week to qualify for the state tournament; wins over Branford and Griswold); West Haven Blue Devils (went 1-1 during the week, highlighted with a 4-3 victory over Sheehan.)

Week #6 (May 10 winners: Daniel Hand Tigers (went 2-0 during the week with victories over East Haven and Guilford to improve to 11-4 on the season); Foran Lions (went 2-1 during the week, highligted with a 6-1 victory over seventh-ranked Xavier, to improve to 10-6 on the season)

Week #5 (May 3 winners: Cheshire Rams (went 2-0 during the week with victories over Branford (13-12) and Hamden, 6-2, to improve to 7-4 on the season; Fairfield Prep Jesuits (went 3-0 during the week with victories over Guilford (16-4), Foran (12-2) and LaSalle Academy of Rhode Island, 9-8, to improve to 10-1 on the season).

Week #4 (April 26 winners: Branford Hornets (went 4-0 during the week, outscoring opponents 46 to 16 to improve to 7-3 on the season); Hamden Green Dragons (went 3-0 during the week, outscoring opponents 36 to 6).

Week #3 (April 19 winners: Sheehan Titans (went 3-0 during the week, outscoring opponents 31-10, to improve to 4-2 on the season); Notre Dame Green Knights (went 3-0 during the week to remain unbeaten (5-0); outscored opponents 25-13 during the week)

Week #2 (April 12 winners: North Haven Nighthawks (went 3-0 during the week, outscoring opponents 56 to 9), Xavier Falcons (went 3-0 during the week, outscoring its opponents 34 to 4).

Week #1 (April 5) winners: Wilbur Cross Governors (defeated Bridgeport Central, 16-2, in the SCC/FCIAC challenge), Lyman Hall Trojans (the top-ranked Trojans defeated #2 ranked Fairfield Warde, 10-4, in the SCC/FCIAC challenge)

The New England Top 100 showcase is run by former SCC standouts Peter Civitello (former student-athlete at North Haven HS and head baseball coach at Guilford HS) and Michael Moras (former standout baseball player at Amity Regional HS, and current owner of The CT Grind). The NE Top 100 Showcase will held in early June in Connecticut, and will provide an opportunity for student-athletes to compete in front of 20-plus (as of January 2026) colleges and universities.
