SCC Girls Soccer Playoff Update – Friday, Oct. 23
The four divisional champions have been determined – Mercy (Hammonasset), Amity Regional (Housatonic), Daniel Hand (Oronoque) and Guilford (Quinnipiac). There are five teams in contention for the four wildcard spots, which are based on the best winning percentage of the 14 “counting games” scheduled by the league.
Final pairings will be determined after regular-season games played on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The SCC playoffs, presented by ServPRO Geaski, will begin with the quarterfinals on Thursday, Oct. 29 at higher seeds. The semifinals will be played on Monday, Nov. 2 at the higher seeds. The 2026 championship game will be played Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at West Haven’s Ken Strong Stadium.

Three teams have clinched a wildcard spot into the playoffs and there are three teams in contention for the fourth and final wildcard, which are based on the best winning percentage of the 14 “counting games” scheduled by the league.

Hamden will be the #5 seed, and Amity Regional #6 seed. The #7 seed will be Cheshire/Guilford/Lyman Hall/Foran and #8 will be West Haven.
