2024 SCC Scholar Leaders feted on April 1

The 2024 SCC Scholar Leader Banquet was held on Monday, April 1 at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven. The event was presented by CNG-SCG-UI (Part of the Avangrid family).

Forty-six “Scholar Leaders” will be honored. Scholar leaders, two from each SCC member school, were chosen from each SCC member school principal for their work in the classroom and in the community.

At the conclusion of the evening, two Scholar Leaders – Ava Halovatch (North Haven) and Greshana Ward (Hamden) were recognized as the recipients of the “Bill O’Brien Community Service Scholarship.” Each received $500.
