Congratulations to Notre Dame, who captured the 2025 SCC Boys Basketball title with a 62-44 victory over #2 Hillhouse. It was the Green Knights’ fourth straight league title.
Notre Dame scored the first eight points of the contest and took a 16-6 lead after one quarter. The Green Knights extended their lead to 18, 31-13, at halftime. Abdou Toure had 10 first-half points and seven rebounds, while Landon Krygier added 10 points and six rebounds.
Hillhouse would cut the lead to 11, 42-31, early in the fourth quarter, but the Green Knights used a 13-5 run over the next two minutes to extend their lead.
Toure, who was named as the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, scored a game-high 22 points and added 12 rebounds for the double double. Krygier contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Kadrian Reeves added seven points and a team-high five assists.
Jared Coleman led Hillhouse (18-5) with 12 points and had six rebounds. Ty’Jhuan Rogers contributed nine points and seven rebounds.
