Simsbury Captures First SCC Girls Ice Hockey Title

The first SCC girls ice hockey playoff will include the top six teams that finish in the final regular-season standings.

Quarterfinals – Saturday, Feb. 18 – @Higher Seeds

#4 North Haven/Amity/Cheshire 6, #5 Daniel Hand 2

Semifinals - Monday, Feb. 20 – @Higher Seeds

Championship Game - Wednesday, Feb. 22 @TD Bank Sports Center – Quinnipiac University

Simsbury won the first-ever Southern Connecticut Conference girls ice hockey title today with a 4-1 victory over West Hartford co-op at the High Point Solutions Arena on the campus of Quinnipiac University. Simsbury's Maggie Grigely (2 goals, 2 assists) was named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
