The Southern Connecticut Conference was well represented on Wednesday, April 23 when the University of Connecticut Huskies battled the Quinnipiac University Bobcats in a Division I college baseball contest.  A total of 12 players and two coaches represented nine different league schools.  Thanks to SCC Commissioner Emeritus Bill O'Brien for taking the historic photo.

On the Quinnipiac side is Fairfield Prep’s Matt DeRosa, East Haven’s Vincent Guglietti, Xavier’s Lou Iannotti and Ryan Verdi and North Haven’s Matthew Oestreicher. In addition, Bobcats head coach Dan Gooley is a former Hillhouse standout.
