#SCC25 Turn Back the Clock – March 24-25

In the last two years, two wrestlers from Foran High School made their mark at the National High School Championship Meet (NHSCHA), held in Virginia Beach, VA.

On March 24, 2018, Foran senior wrestler Ryan Luth (152 lbs.) concluded his record-setting high school career with a state record 220 victories, and a fifth-place finish at the National meet.  Luth was a four-time SCC champion, a three-time All-American and a two-time New England champion.  He now wrestles at Washington & Lee, and posted a 22-5 record in his freshman season this past winter.

One year earlier on March 25, 2017, Foran’s Michael Ross, who won the SCC, Class M, State Open and New England wrestling titles at 152 pounds, finished third at the NHSCHA National Meet.  Ross currently wrestles at Wartburg College in Iowa, and has a 48-8 record after two collegiate seasons.
